A training session on Patient Assessment, Chemotherapy Handling, Administration, Follow-Up, and Supportive Care in Pediatric Oncology for healthcare providers has been successfully completed.
The training was conducted by Dr. Negeo Tesfaye (Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist) and Mr. Adane Hailu, (MSc Clinical Oncology, Saint Paul MMC)
The primary aim of this training was to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare providers in the following areas: Patient assessment techniques, Safe handling and administration of chemotherapy, Effective follow-up care for pediatric oncology patients and Supportive care strategies for improving patient outcomes
The overall objective of this training is to equip healthcare providers with the necessary competencies to deliver high-quality care in pediatric oncology, ensuring better health outcomes for young patients.
