Wollega University Referral Hospital (WURH) Center of Excellence Cluster annual Performance review meeting, research dissemination and Center of Excellence inauguration forum held in collaboration with UKaid, Marie Stopes International Ethiopia (MSIE) at WURH. The hospital is selected as a center of excellence for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SHR) services.
The participants of the forum were drawn from the hospital’s catchment areas of five zones’ (Kelem Wollega, Horo Guduru Wollega, East Woolega, West Wollega, and West Shewa) respective health offices’ heads, nine Quality Assurance Hubs (Gedo General Hospital, Guduru Primary Hospital, shambu General Hospital, Gida General Hospital, Gimbi General Hospital, Nedjo General Hospital, Kake Primary Hospital, Dembi Dollo General Hospital and Nekemte Specialized Hospital), women’s affairs, and youth affairs representatives.
Dr Diriba Diba, chairperson of WURH, inaugurated renovated training center and service rooms and officially launched the training center thereby promoting the services the center provides to the participants. Finally attendants of the forum visited WURH service rooms, and training center.
